PSA Submission Tiers Explained: Value, Cost, and Turnaround

PSA pricing is not one flat fee. Service tiers are tied to declared value, turnaround, and sometimes bulk options. Picking the wrong tier wastes money or delays your cards.

How tiers generally work

Higher declared card values usually require higher service levels and higher fees. Faster turnaround options cost more. Bulk or special offers appear periodically and can change the math for large submissions.

Declared value matters

You declare a value for insurance and tier eligibility. Undervaluing a card to squeeze into a cheaper tier can cause problems if the card is worth more than allowed at that level. Overvaluing can push you into an unnecessarily expensive tier.
