How accurate is Cardemon's AI grading?+
Cardemon uses advanced computer-vision models trained on the same four factors professional graders use — centering, corners, edges, and surface. It's designed to give you a reliable pre-grade so you know which cards are worth submitting to PSA, BGS, or SGC. It's an estimate for informational purposes and isn't an official certified grade.
Is Cardemon affiliated with PSA, BGS, or SGC?+
No. Cardemon is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by PSA, BGS, SGC, or any official grading company. Our grades are AI-generated estimates meant to help you decide what to submit.
Does Cardemon work on Japanese Pokémon cards?+
Yes. Cardemon recognizes both English and Japanese cards, including key variants like 1st Edition and Reverse Holo, and identifies the set, year, and card number automatically.
Do I need to photograph both sides of the card?+
Yes — dual-photo scanning is what makes Cardemon accurate. Photographing the front and back lets the AI read the full condition, including back-centering and surface flaws that a single photo would miss.
How does the value estimate work?+
After identifying the exact card and variant, Cardemon shows a low-to-high market value range so you can gauge what a card is roughly worth before buying, selling, or submitting it for grading.
How much does Cardemon cost?+
Cardemon is free to download. Scanning and grading are unlocked with a Premium subscription ($2.99/week), billed through your Apple ID. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the period, and you can manage or cancel anytime in your App Store settings.
