Gold Label 10 vs Black Label 10

A standard BGS 10 (often called a Gold Label) means the overall grade is 10, but one or more sub-grades may be 9.5. A Black Label requires a 10 in every sub-grade: centering, corners, edges, and surface. That extra step is why Black Labels are dramatically rarer.

Why perfection is so hard
